Today is soooo boring. Yes, it is good that we get to go to Junction again! But everyone is so depressed because this guy got expelled and had to leave school last night, one of the friendliest people I have ever met, not that we ever were that close. It is a pity. It took time for me to fall asleep last night so I am really tired today. I had two lessons today and I've also worked on my christmas list, going to Sweden for christmas, I can't wait to see my friends. I miss them terribly... If anyone has a good song they know, please tell me 'cause it feels like I have heard every song at least 100 times.

Ok so today has been pretty chill. First Anna and I went to this small shopping center called Prestige Plaza, and I had a date :D he was really sweet and stuff. Then when we came back, we went out for dinner and stuff and then Anna and I went back. We ate dinner and chilled in her room with Alice and Louise. Then Anna, Alice and I went to a bar and chilled some more wasn't much until my date showed up with some of his friends :) we hung out and yeahhh... hahaha I think we are going to meet soon again. Now however, I'm going to watch Friends and then try to get some sleep. Goodnight <3

Ok so last night was... interesting. I went to a Japanese resturant with Esmeralda, Anna and Alice. It was a really gross place, a hole in the ceiling and insects everything. The food was good though but I wouldn't go there again, it took us about an hour to get there because of the traffic when it is usually just ten minutes away. We got back around 11, Esmeralda and I went to my room and watched The Social Network before we both fell asleep. Now I am in my room, going to get dressed 'cause I have a date with a guy I met last weekend at a bar, hehe. I'll blog later :) <3

how often do you talk to your friends and family in sweden? do you ever miss them? are you happy you left?   I talk to them every now and then. I am actually skyping with my brother right this moment. I am very thankful that I got the oppertunity to spend this time in Kenya because I feel like I'm learning a lot and I get to see a whole a new culture, but of course there are times when I wish I was with my family and friends in Europe.

FOr how long are you staying? has the bombing settled down?  I'm staying most likely for two years, if not then I'll only stay until May. The bombing has settled down in Nairobi and they caught a guy who admitted that he was responsible for it all but it has been another bombing today in the North part of Kenya.

How is the situation today?  Well that depends on what you mean on the "situation". If you look back on the history with the economy and stuff, it is much better. Compare to Europe, it is a lot poorer and it is clear that people don't earn as much money but because of that, people don't waste as much either. Everything is also really cheap here. As I have written about recently and stood a lot about in the news papers, it has been a few bombings here and theres conflict between Somalia and Kenya but I am hoping that will calm down soon.

how are the parties? looks pretty sick on your pictures? do you think it is worth going on vacation too?  Yeah, the parties are pretty sick here but sometimes it can get pretty lame. The best parties are when theres an event and A LOT of people show up. Yes I really do think that this is a vacation place because there is just so much to see.

Adams Arcade

Because of all the bombings here, which I think most of you have read about in the newspapers, we're not allowed to go to Junction or big places like that for our own safety. There has been three bombs since Sunday; one at a nightclub, one in the middle of Nairobi city and one at a bus station. Rumours say that the people, Al-shabab or whoevers doing this is after bigger groups. Instead of Junction, we went to a another place called Adams Arcade, it wasn't much, I just got a milkshake from Java. Now the GOOD NEWS, I found out that my mother is most likely coming to visit me in less than a month. YEEHAA!! I can't wait (A) Now however, I have to do some homework.

A grenade exloded at a nightclub last night in Nairobi :( 13 people are injured and the death number has not yet been announced. It is horrible, who's got a nerve to do such a thing? They think it is the Somalian group called Al-shabab 'cause there is a little conflict between Kenya and Al-shabab, but if the little conflict is still so little, I'm not so sure about?

Rest in peace all of those who lost their lives last night and for all the people that are still "only" injured, I pray for them to make it.

Good Morning

I just woke up, gonna get dressed for breakfast, then I will be going to a spa with some friends. Last night, was cozy.  I went to a bar with Anna and Emilia. At first we wanted to go to this other bar but it was a special strict 25 years thing so I called my friend Riz who came and picked us up and drove us to Juntion. Thats were the bar was and we met the first lesbian Kenyan haha. She was hitting on us like crazy which was a little weird since it is illigal in Kenya and there were like guards and stuff everywhere. But it was at least fun later, we didn't do much, just chilled and talked. Around 12-ish we went to KFC and then took a cab home.

Mombasa is a wonderful place

I suck at blogging... but it isn't my fault. Tomorrow morning we are going back to Nairobi with the bus. It has been lovely here, like 40 degrees, no joke. I will write more about this place when I get back.
