The weekend

From Friday to Sunday, Anna and Alice and I stayed at a hotel here in Nairobi. It was fun and I say that we deffo gotta do that again. We went out to eat, cooked our own food, stayed up talking, went out partying etc. I also went on a date, it was so nice and resturant was huge!! Haha

Blog-free weekend

Yupp, this weekend I am not gonna blog because I will be spending it at a hotel with ma biiiaaaatchezzzz Anna and Alice and I am not bringing my computer. Hear from me on Monday :) peace

I miss International Schools :-/

Just like the title says, I reaaaallllyyy miss International schools. Don't get me wrong, I love Kenya. I love my friends, I love the culture, I love everything but the school here is so boring. It brings down my mood. No, It is not like any school in the world is all rainbows and smilies but at least in International schools we get to do stuff such as roleplays, activities, games, anything that will make learning more fun. Here it is all, sit on a desk and write an essay on 1,000 words without do anything about the topic. There are no pictures we get to look at even. It gets sooooo boooooooring after a while. I don't believe that anybody learns from sitting down behind a desk for hours. It is probably the other way around. People go stir crazy from that. I know I'm about too. But it isn't just that. I miss no knowing everybody in school, I miss speaking English, I miss hearing about how other people has grown up and the different cultures. There is this connection in International schools that I have never really noticed before since I've always been to International schools, but now when I am here, I miss it. Of course, there is a connection here as well and everyone is so amazing here and I wouldn't wanna have it any other way but still... can't help but to miss it :/

Last night, I watched the movie "Finding Neverland". I think I just found myself  a new favourite movie is all I can say. It was so beautiful and it brought tears to my eyes. Loved it so much and it has such a beautiful meaning to it <3

I'm bullet proof, nothing to loose, fire away, fire away

I can't sleep so I decided to blog. I only had one lesson today and then I spent hours finishing an essay thats due on Friday but good girl me already finished it and send it in :) hihi. Well, when I was done, I went to Brew Bistro and Lounge with Anna, Alice, Emilia and Yanjaa. It was happy hour there as well so it was a lot of fun. Then when we got back, we all did some more homework and then Anna, Alice and I took a night swim and then spent some time in the sauna, I wonder why I don't do that more. It is fun.

Night fever, Night fever

Yesterday, the school offored to take us to a water park with slides and stuff. I decided to go so I hung out with Ebba, Fanny, Pyttan and Lovisa all day. It was sooooo much fun. Then when I got back, I was so sleepy so I took a shower and then had a power nap. At night, Alice, Emilia, Esmeralda and I went to get ready in Anna's room before we went for dinner at Art Cáfe with Yanjaa. I shared a pizza with Emilia. That place seriously never gets old. Later at night we went to The Loft. There was an event there so a ton of people were there. It was really fun. Met some new folks and some old people that I hadn't seen in a while. Today, I've been really tired though. Chased a bee out of my room, swam in the pool, sunbathed, studied and even played some Sims :) hihi

OH MY GOD, have you guys heard? Whitney Houston is dead. Overdose, no suprise there. She was 48 years old and she left young kids behind :/ I woke up this morning from a text from my dad with the news and I went and told Anna and Alice. They are probably just as shocked and sad about this as I am. It is so sad, she was really a legend. I loved her music so I think I am going to put a song on by her now.

Never say never

Last night, we all were so tired and didn't feel like going out so Alice, Anna and I went over to Esmeralda's house. We were even too tired to stick along there for too long so we just stayed in her room for an hour or two, talking about random stuff before we went back at like 11.30-12.00 sometime. I went to my room, uploaded some pictures and then went to bed. Today we were suppose to sleepover at Fro's but she was having other guests over so now we can't anymore but no worries, we are going to The Loft tonight instead. Man do I miss that place, Tiihiii...
